An Outdoor Maidens Barn Wedding with Stacey and Sam

When we first met up with Stacey and Sam, the conversation just flowed and we knew that we were going to have such a great time with this fab couple.  Their engagement shoot was so much fun (see here) and we couldn't wait for their stunning Maidens Barn Wedding.

On the day of their wedding the weather stayed dry which was perfect for their outdoor ceremony.  This was held in the courtyard at Maidens Barn under the large wooden archway leading into the feature garden. Stacey and the girls got ready nearby at the Saracens Head in Dunmow.  We were lucky that Sam made it to his wedding as he had a bad accident with his hand at work the day before and had spent most of the night in hospital.  It didn't stop Sam from smiling all day long - especially when he saw Stacey looking breathtaking as she walked through the courtyard and down the aisle for the ceremony.

There were so many beautiful details to this wedding, but the day was made by the brilliant, relaxed and fun couple, and all their family and friends, together with a stunning venue with amazing staff and food. We had so many laughs throughout the day but the best had to be during the bridal party group photos.  This crazy bunch had us in stitches, and then the little ones joined in with their photo bombing! It was just perfect and what relaxed fun wedding photography is all about.

Big thanks to Stacey and Sam for being so chilled and relaxed and trusting in us, and if you are looking for your Maidens Barn Wedding Photographer we would love to hear from you.  Here are a few of our favourites from Stacey and Sam's wedding gallery.

A Maidens Barn Wedding with Kelly and Gary

Kelly and Gary chose Maidens Barn as their wedding venue, a place where we have worked quite often and love returning there, with very accommodating and friendly staff, and the food (especially the Lamb) is absolutely delicious!

Kelly and Gary made their preparations at the Saracens Head in Great Dunmow, with all Gary's family being there too as they had come over from Ireland, turning it into a weekend of celebrations, these guys and gals knew how to party !!

The boys set off for Maidens Barn in glorious sunshine, for Gary and his best man and groomsmen to welcome the rest of their guests, directing them to the stunning new Oak Barn for the ceremony.

Kelly arrived at the venue and made her way through to the Oak Barn for the ceremony, with Gary and their guests waiting eagerly for her arrival, he was not to be disappointed as Kelly looked stunning.

After the ceremony it was into the courtyard and beautiful gardens for canapes and drinks, and some group photographs, making the most of the glorious weather and venue, before taking Kelly and Gary off for some couple portraits, and then back inside for their wedding breakfast ( time for the lamb, yum yum :)) followed by some hilarious speeches.

We managed to get outside again for some more couple portraits as the sun was falling, ( we love shooting at this time of day as it makes for some stunning shots) before heading back inside to start the evening celebrations.

We said our farewells and left everybody to continue the party into the late hours. Thanks once again Kelly and Gary for having us to capture your special day .
