Essex Wedding Photography at Three Rivers | Jenny + Rich

You are a fantastic photographer and I know now how valuable you were to our day! It was very special having you capture our day!
— Jenny and Richard

Jen and Rich got married back in September and we were really looking forward their wedding at Three Rivers Golf & Country Club as it was due to be an outside ceremony under the Gazebo. This venue is set within gorgeous grounds and makes an ideal setting for some stunning shots.

Their day started very cloudy and the forecast was rain. That is no problem for us as we can produce some awesome flash shots in the rain and we always come prepared for any weather, but it wasn’t the ideal weather for our couple. When we arrived at the venue and the skies had brightened so it was all fingers crossed that it stayed that way. Jen and Rich were both in high spirits and determined that the weather wasn’t going to spoil their day

We captured the girls getting ready at the venue whilst outside the team of ushers and co-ordinators were on stand by to decide whether it was inside or outside for the ceremony. The decision was finally made to go outdoors and the rush began to make the final preparations. The guests begin to arrive and take their seats outside, but then down came the rain. Fortunately it stopped very quickly and the sun came out just as Jen was about to make her entrance whilst their guests enjoyed beautiful music provided by the harpist.

The rest of the day was spent in glorious sunshine and the guests were able to enjoy the outdoor gardens at Three Rivers, whilst we took Jen and Rich away for some couple portraits in and around the venue. As the guests took their seats for the wedding breakfast they found the fabulous cake pops in the shape of lips and a moustache that were made by Jen’s sister. Jen’s mum gave a lovely speech and then the best man handed out a selection of embarrassing photos of Rich during his speech.

After their wedding breakfast we took Jen and Rich away again for a short while to capture some evening portraits, together with some fun shots with the bridal party on the golf course. Back inside the children were fascinated by the lit up dance floor which was set up all ready for the evening of dancing. After the first dance everyone jumped into the photobooth we had provided for some crazy pictures, which included Rich being held upside down by his groomsmen!

Here is a small selection of photos from their day.
