Donna and David had decided on a small intimate wedding at The Westcliff Hotel in Southend with just 14 guests, and chose our short coverage package to capture photos from getting ready through to the speeches at the beginning of the wedding breakfast.
Donna got ready in the bridal suite at the hotel with her sister Kay helping out and applying Donna's make up. Although Donna had told me at our pre-wedding meet that she didn't like having her photo taken, I captured lots of natural relaxed photos of her getting ready. She looked stunning in her Mori Lee dress with a simple bouquet of pink tulips. Donna's mum popped in to see her daughter and take a few photos before the ceremony.
David had arrived with his parents, looking very dapper in his blue suit and tie. As he waited in the ceremony room chatting with the guests, Donna came down and met her dad before making her grand entrance. After the ceremony, the bride and groom mingled with their guests over drinks in the lounge area before we headed out into the sunshine for photos at the top of the cliffs, overlooking the sea.
Back inside the hotel, the table was set ready for their intimate wedding breakfast. Donna's dad gave a heartfelt speech followed by a great speech by David, resulting in tears and laughter.
Huge congratulations to Donna and David. Thank you for choosing us as your wedding photographers and we wish you all the best in your future together. Here are a few of our favourites from their wedding.
