When I have a camera in my hand I know no fear.

Hi, I am Rachael, an Essex Wedding Photographer and Portrait Photographer.  So what got me started in this photography journey.  Taking photos of my two little munchkins (who are not so little nowadays!).  Admittedly in the early days I did have to pay my kids so they would let me photograph them, but they wanted to be outside, having fun, running around and playing.  By capturing photos of them like this I had photos that told a story about who they were, what they liked and most importantly photos that brought back real life memories.  Photos that could take people back to that moment and feel something.

That is what I love about photographing people.  I get a warm fuzzy feeling when I capture a photo of the bride's mother shedding a happy tear during the ceremony, knowing that the bride missed that moment but will have it in a photo forever.  This and so many other moments during a wedding that I am so lucky to witness and capture.  I love what I do, but I also love having fun, meeting new people, being a bit crazy (anyone I have photographed will agree with this one!), having a dance and eating cheese!  Whoever invented wedding cakes made of cheese - a big high five!

Travelling is big on my to-do list and I have been lucky enough to to have visited some amazing places including Hawaii, New Zealand, California, Australia, Mexico, Singapore, Cuba and Dubai.  To be able to combine my love of travel and photography shooting destination weddings has been fantastic.  Not many people can say they photographed a wedding in an igloo at the top of a snowy mountain in the middle of a snow storm!  Or that they would do it all again in a heartbeat!!
